April National Malaria
Let's do our part - you may purchase a net for $10. There is a box in the back (the honor system) in which you may place cash or a check (made out to Avondale UMC) but marked for a Malaria net. Last year we purchase 33 nets, this years goal is 35!
Bridge's Pantry
Avondale UMC will be supporting the pantry all year in 2012.
March/April - Canned veggies and fruit
May/June - Pasta, rice, noodles, pasta sauce
Bethany School
A school in Kentucky we support financially for school supplies or whatever they deem necessary.
Chatham Acres
Avondale UMC supports at Christmas by buying residents gifts. Also, year round, we support the residents by purchasing small items for their birthdays.
Avon Grove Christmas Basket
The Catholic church is connection with the Nazarene church and Kemblesville UM Church puts together food baskets for over 263 families and toys for the children. We also collect canned goods to help fill the baskets and also send money so they can purchase what they need if something isn't donated.
Toys For Children
Avondale UMC collects toys for Lanchester UM Men's at Christmas Time.
